Indonesia is a biggest archipelago country in the world, consist more than 13.000 islands. About 92 islands are bordering next to other country.
The water space area take 2/3 part of the country.
This tropical country is surrounded by oceans, seas, rivers and lakes. Have lot of active volcanoes, as well as forests and tropical trees. Originally, green every where.(but sometimes huge water floods and landslides, even the frightened Tsunami in Aceh).

This country had bigger water space area. Now you could understand why Indonesia is also very rich in water treasures, like fish, shrimps, seashells, Mother of Pearl (MoP), Fresh Water pearl (FW Pearl), Sea Water Pearls, Cultured and Natural Pearls, Sea and Beach Glass, Corals, hundreds kind of Mollusks, and various kind of white and black sands.

Not many know that the best pearl in the world just came from Indonesia.
Not many know that Indonesia have beautiful corals.

As I had found out in internet, an American jewelry designer wrote on her website: “…Sulawesi, formerly known as Celebes, is the third largest island of Indonesia. It is a potpourri of people and cultures, offering unique flora and fauna and complete topographical variety from spectacular mountains, to dense jungles, to amazing coastlines. The island itself is shaped like a tropical orchid with each peninsula a petal, each ridged with mountains and surrounded by coral reefs. North Sulawesi is famous for its magnificent coral reefs, being a scuba divers paradise…”

I was born and been grew up in North Sulawesi ( my mother’s home town) before move to Jakarta in Java island. (My father side is Javanese).
North Sulawesi has its own international harbor and airport, and is bordering with The Philippines. Fish from North Sulawesi have finest quality. Here, they have canned – fish factory , powerful in rattan, and have the biggest coconut oil factory. This province used to call as a “Coconut , Clove and huge Tuna land”
But you could find Coconut and Clove trees around Indonesia.
People in North Sulawesi (Celebes) only eat the fresh fish. No frozen fish. Catch to day, eat to day.

Not many know that, Indonesia is most rich in sea and water resources. You named it. Rich kind of fishes, sea and water creatures, and quality shrimps.
No wonder if the sea police are still busy to catch the sea pirate and smugglers .They keep stealing the Indonesia fish, sea creatures and other sea treasures. Yes, the water area of Indonesia is very huge. Huger than the land site of Indonesia.

In Indonesia you could find various kind of genuine Pearl. The sea water, the fresh water pearl. The natural and cultured pearl. It mainly found in the East side of Indonesia which is next to the Pacific Ocean. Like in Lombok and Moluccas (Maluku) island.

It is said that, the best Pearl in the world you could find in Indonesia, especially in Lombok and Maluku at the east of Indonesia. The sea Pearl and the Fresh Water Pearl. (Indonesia stand among two oceans ).
Hundred thousands of hectares of water are culturing pearls in this area.

The Stolen Heritage

There’s another one main thing about this sea water country.
Deep in Indonesia seas, there’s hundreds of sank and wracked ships, from ages and ages ago. Ever found artifact treasures from age 10th of Muslim age.
Since thousands year ago, Indonesia is an international ships route. So the treasures in its deep seas, is not only treasures, but also as heritage of Indonesia. Cultural preserve of Indonesia.

Every day its living sea creatures treasures had been robbed. Thousands of Indonesia artifacts, tons and tons of its sea treasures and sea heritages had been stolen and robbed by the foreigner. And lot of it had been sold into international auction houses, like The Christie’s. –
